Individualized Learning

The Individualized Learning Program (ILP) at Escondido Charter High School offers a personalized education plan tailored to the student's needs. It is a year-round independent study program with flexible scheduling.
The program is strongly homework driven with academic guidance provided by the Teacher of Record. Students meet with their Teacher of Record once a week and attend math and computer labs twice a week.
The Academy of Applied Technologies operates within the Individualized Learning Program, and offers career education with courses meeting twice a week.
To participate in ILP, students must be motivated and have self-discipline. They must meet basic skill levels in math and English, as determined by intake examinations.
